SHIPPING A FIREARM - FFL'S AND TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP

Armify Defense (Anchor Armory LLC), will ONLY transfer ownership of a firearm to individuals or agencies in possession of a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL). This means we cannot ship directly to you unless you are an FFL holder.

If you do not hold a valid FFL, Armify Defense will transfer your purchased firearm to your choice of a licensed gun dealer in your state.

It is your responsibility:

  • to ensure that a firearm is legal to own in your state! You must be legally allowed to own the firearm. Contact your preferred FFL and verify that they can complete the transfer. have them reach out to us via email at info@armifydefense.com with an active copy of their FFL. 

  • to complete all required paperwork when you pick up your purchase from your local dealer

Be aware that it is customary for your local dealer to charge a transfer fee at the time you pick up your purchase. This transfer fee is strictly between you and your local dealer. Please check with your local dealer concerning their policies. You do not pay armifydefense.com the transfer fee.

The buyer is responsible for contacting their transferring FFL to request they send a copy of their FFL to us.

In making a purchase from armifydefense.com, YOU declare and warrant that:

 

YOU are not prohibited by Federal or State law, or local ordinance, from receiving firearms or ammunition, or ammunition components, of any kind.

 

YOU are at least eighteen (18) years of age if purchasing long guns or long gun ammunition or ammunition components. Some states stipulate that you must be twenty-on (21) to purchase long guns.

 

YOU are at least twenty-one (21) years of age if purchasing a hand gun or ATF-defined “OTHER” firearm (including, but not limited to, stripped receivers, frames, and pistol-grip firearms) OR ammunition or ammunition components for use in handguns.

 

YOU have verified (prior to purchase) that all products and the delivery of said products comply with all laws and ordinances in your jurisdiction.

 

YOU are the actual transferee / buyer of the fiream(s) you are purchasing from BudsGunShop.com.  (WARNING: You are not the actual buyer if you are acquiring the firearm(s) on behalf of another person).

 

YOU are not under indictment or information in any court for a felony, or any other crime, for which the judge could imprison you for more than one year or are a current member of the military who has been charged with violation(s) of the Uniform Code of Military Justice and whose charge(s) have been referred to a general court-martial.

 

YOU have not been convicted in any court, including a military court, of a felony, or any other crime, for which the judge could have imprisoned you for more than one year, even if you received a shorter sentence including probation.

 

YOU are not a fugitive from justice.

 

YOU are not an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance. YOU have not been adjudicated mentally defective OR have not been committed to a mental institution.

 

YOU have not been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions.

 

YOU are not subject to a court order, including a Military Protection Order issued by a military judge or magistrate, restraining you from harassing, stalking, or threatening your child or an intimate partner or child of such partner.

 

YOU have not been convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, nor are you nor have you been a member of the military and convicted of a crime that included, as an element, the use of force against a person as a current or former spouse, parent, or guardian, or person who shares a child in common, or cohabitating or cohabitated with the victim as a spouse, parent, or guardian, or by a person similarly situated to a spouse, parent, or guardian of the victim. The term includes all misdemeanors that have as an element the use or attempted use of physical force or the threatened use of a deadly weapon (e.g., assault and battery), if the offense is committed by one of the defined parties.

 

YOU have never renounced your United States citizenship.

 

YOU are not an illegal or unlawful alien in the United States.

 

YOU are not currently on Federal NICS or State agency “DELAY” OR “DENIED” status regarding your most recent attempt to purchase a firearm.  Firearm AND/OR  ammunition or ammunition component sales or transfers are prohibited during these conditions.

 

YOU understand that handling, cleaning, or discharging firerams, ammunition or ammunition components may cause exposure to lead, and

 

YOU hold Armify Defense harmless and YOU assume all responsibility for any lead exposure.

SHIPPING

Buyers pay exact shipping costs at armifydefense.com. Armify Defense only ships via FEDEX and UPS. Whenever possible, we will combine shipping for multiple small accessories on the same order. However, because certain accessories can be drop shipped from various warehouses, the shipping rates may increase. Any accessory shipped from another warehouse will incur an additional $5.00 increase in the base shipping cost. Shipping insurance is included at checkout. Armify Defense is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit, FEDEX or UPS will handle claims. If you would like to review the total shipping charges for your order, click "checkout" to preview the order. You can preview the order including the ship to address, and the shipping charge before you click to confirm your order. The shipping and handling charge covers the cost of standard shipping. If you require expedited shipping, the shipping fees will be greater. You must contact us for a quote if you require expedited shipping. Expedited shipping only applies to transit times, not the processing time. We do NOT ship to PO Boxes.

Orders process and ship within 2-7 business days upon receipt of full payment and a valid FFL if applicable. We look forward to serving you!

RETURNS and REFUNDS:

  • Shipping charges may vary based on shipping address.

ACCESSORY RETURNS

  • Returns are ONLY accepted for merchandise found defective immediately upon receipt and returned within 5 calendar days of receipt. 

  • Accessory items that have been opened from the manufacturer packaging will not be accepted for return.

  • Returns will NOT be accepted for any accessories that have been installed/mounted. Most accessory items have a manufacturer warranty. Please contact the manufacturer if there are any issues with / post installation.

  • Original shipping charges are NOT refunded if the item is NOT found to be defective. Customers will be responsible for return shipping in these cases. These orders may be subject to a 25% restocking fee.

  • All Ammunition Sales / Ammo Components are Final and Non-Returnable.

  • Scopes / Optics Sales - Customers must work through the manufacturer if a defect is not identified immediately upon receipt.

NEW FIREARM RETURNS

  • VERY IMPORTANT - NO FIREARM RETURNS!! Please take your time prior to ordering to decide that you are committed to purchasing the firearm. Once a new firearm is transferred to you, it is considered used, even if un-fired. Consequently, we cannot accept returns on firearms once they have been transferred into your possession. Also, we DO NOT reimburse FFL transfer fees on returned items. **Upon discovering a defect AFTER the transfer, the firearm MUST be returned directly to the the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with manufacturer's warranty policy). By sending a defective firearm directly to the manufacturer, you can avoid the unnecessary transfer fees associated with returning the firearm to us through your local FFL dealer. Manufacturer repaired firearms can be returned directly to the customer without additional FFL transfer or associated fees.

  • In the case of failed background checks and incorrect ordering original shipping charges are NOT refunded if the item is NOT found to be defective. Customers will be responsible for return shipping in these cases. These orders may be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
